Erich Paulsen
Erich Paulsen — Erich Paulsen was born in 1932 in the small town of Treuenbrietzen just outside Berlin and spent his early childhood in the region called "Mark Brandenburg." As a young artist, he attended the Master-Class for painting, Meisterschule der Malereui. He graduated with honors from the school.
With growing success he could afford "studying-trips" throughout Europe, Italy, France, and Spain.
The themes of his paintings are mostly landscapes. The river landscapes along Weser and Elbe-River have always fascinated him. Port scenes are also among his favorite subjects.
Erich's paintings are all about texture and color. Working primarily with the palette knife, his paintings leap off the canvas. Over the years, Paulsen has put togther a large collector base in both
the United States and in Europe.
