Meet World Renowned Wine Artist Thomas Arvid for an evening of fine wine and fine food. This unique venue is new for LaMantia Gallery. Instead of the traditional gallery setting, Crossroads Cafe of East Northport will close its restaraunt to the public, and will host this private party for LaMantia Gallery's clients to meet Thomas in a setting that is fitting for his art.
Tickets are required, and will be available at the gallery along with special show promotions.

"plein air"; to paint outdoors in natural light
Last years event was an overwhelming success and this year, once again, we promise to bring the regions most accomplished Plein Air artists to the town of Northport. On Friday and Saturday, June 20th and 21st, the selected artist will be set up in locations throughout the village painting their interpretations of the scenery that is so unique to Northport. On both days spectators can observe the creative process from start to finish and talk with the artists as they work. October 2008 A Duel Show with
Andrew Atroshenko & Irene Sheri
Friday October 3rd, 2008
Saturday October 4th, 2008
With the exact day to be determined, it would still be a great idea to mark your calendar with this event. With Andrew returning for his second show, he is bringing his dear friend and wonderful painter Irene Sheri. Her abstract figurative painting will be a wonderful compliment to Andrew's more traditional approach to the figure.
