VIDAN

VIDAN - Vidan was born in the scenic city of Perugia, Italy which is located between Rome and Florence. At a very young age, Vidan, and his family realized his passion for art. Vidan , with the support of his family knew that he would study to be an artist. He attended some of the finest art schools in Italy. Some of which included the Liceo Artistico di Milano and the Accademia della Belle Arti in Brera.

Vidan moved to the Untied States in 1988. Vidan’s career began in the book cover industry where he quickly established himself as a top romance artist. Vidan worked on book covers for over 15 years. He worked for renowned publishers like Doubleday, Harper-Collins, Harlequin, Zebra, Berkley and Ballantine. While doing this, he also created art for Vogue Italia, TV Guide, Snapshots, and MaryKnoll Greeting Cards. While working on the covers, Vidan never lost sight or connection with his dream of focusing on his fine art.

Vidan is currently working and studying with his world renowned uncle and artist, Pino. Much of his time is spent in Pino’s studio. It is here that Vidan and Pino paint side by side creating wonderful portraits, sensual figures and vibrant landscapes.

In 2004, Vidan began his career as a gallery artist and now his work can be seen in prominent galleries all over the country. His stunning paintings are quickly making Vidan one of the world’s premiere expressive artist’s.
