Craig Alan

He is an American artist known for his paintings which align groups of people seen from an aerial perspective, to create reimagined versions of iconic works by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Piet Mondrian, and others.

“Art needs to be responsible to its purpose; to inspire and enhance,” he remarked. Born in 1971 in San Bernardino, CA, he was raised in Atlanta and went on to attend the University of Mobile in Alabama, where he studied fine arts and set design.

During his time at school, he would drive to New Orleans on the weekends working as a street portraitist to earn extra money. Since then, the artist has exhibited at numerous galleries across the United States and Europe. Alan currently lives and works in Atlanta, GA.
